I woke up today at something like 1p which I will chalk up to overall mental and emotional unrest. We are working through this.
So.
We’re going to use this as an opportunity to figure out what works and what doesn’t. Take what we’re complaining about and shift perspective: Perfect opportunity to discover what schedule works best, when we are most productive, how our mind works and where we’re trying to get. Solid progress so far doing 2025 goal setting in phases and setting concrete milestones. 2024 laid a lot of good groundwork and our frustration is more at lack of perceived progress than any steps backwards — remember we even took solid lessons away from our failures, recovered and kept stepping. That’s not nothing.
First quarter is really going to tell the tale though because that’s when things are either going to bear fruit one way or demand realignment but we’re well sorted either way and there’s a strength to that: even our Plan C is pretty solid at this point. The rest is just patience.
We have the tools and the way has been made easy. Do the work and be patient. When have we not come out on the other side better than before? Let’s just make sure we have our arms around precisely what “better” means: lesson #1 is know your personal requirements in order to set standards for measurement and continuous improvement. And we already know how to do that.
I don’t know if the third person thing works for blog posts.
I think this is technically second person?
We’ll look it up.
